Santiago Navio, Executive Chairman, brings over 20 years of experience in fixed income, commodities, and equities across the European, US & LatAm markets. Since 2014, he has served as Treasury Vice President at United Capital, where he oversees a portfolio of corporate and sovereign debt in Emerging and Frontier Markets. Santiago is also a portfolio manager for several private Latin American clients. As the Executive Chairman for Gamma, Santiago provides leadership, vision and practical knowledge to the Board of Gamma International Bank and its subsidiaries.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in International Management from the University of Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and a Master’s degree in Derivatives and Financial Markets from U.N.E.D. University in Madrid, Spain.
Pelayo Troncoso Acebal, CFA CEO is an investment management professional with over 10 years of experience in portfolio management. Pelayo serves as the current portfolio manager for several private clients in the Dominican Republic. He is also an active member of the board of directors for Parval Puesto de Bolsa, a Dominican Republic broker dealer and Bunker, a documents management company.
In 2015 Pelayo served as co-portfolio manager in Credit Andorra Financial Group for institutional and high net worth clients. Pelayo holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute and is also a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and a Registered Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66).
Pelayo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Boston College in the US.
Investment specialist with over 35 years of experience managing assets for private and institutional clients. Before joining Gamma, Douglas served as Managing Director and Senior VP of Equity Management for PNC Capital Advisors, the asset management division of PNC Bank, the seventh-largest bank in the United States by assets.
At PNC, Doug developed the investment process and policy for the PNC Advantage portfolios, growing the product from $20 million to $7.5 billion in assets under management. Under his management, PNC’s Large Cap Growth portfolio reached #1 and #2 positions, respectively, as the best equity fund in the “growth” category on the renowned Wall Street Journal’s “Winner’s Circles Contest” list. Doug has held the positions of Director of Investments for Millennium Advisors, Investment Analyst for The Vanguard Group, and Director of Research for Rittenhouse Financial Services.
Mr. Roman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Penn State University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
David Galarza-Sosa, CCO and Country Manager PR. Licensed attorney in Puerto Rico with over 19 years of legal and compliance regulation experience. David began his career in 2004 as a Securities Examiner for the Commissioner of Financial Institutions in Puerto Rico. Two years later, Mr. Galarza-Sosa transitioned to the private sector, where he held several supervisory positions at the most reputable securities broker-dealers in Puerto Rico, among them, Popular Securities (2006-2011), Santander Securities (2011-2016) and Citi International Financial Services (2017-2022).
In 2016, David served as Chief Compliance Officer for ATON Financial, a newly formed RIA.
David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico and a Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
Senior risk executive with over 25 years of experience in market, credit/counterparty, operational, and liquidity risk management. Before joining Gamma, Rafael served as Managing Director for Risk Management and Compliance at Haitong International Securities USA and co-led the Market Risk Management division globally for Haitong International Securities Group. He also held senior risk management roles at Haitong Securities USA, Haitong Bank NY, and Banco Espirito Santo de Investimento NY.
Earlier in his career, Rafael was Head of Market Risk for Banco Espirito Santo de Investimento in Madrid and worked at MEFF -BME Group-, the Spanish Derivatives Exchange.
Mr. Capa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and attended the Financial Risk Measurement and Management Executive Master program at Instituto BME. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and holds the Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certification from GARP.
Jordan Rothenberg EVP’s responsibility is driving Gamma’s asset growth, product, service, and client development strategies as we aim to reinforce our customized, white-glove, client-focused approach that directly aligns with client’s universal needs for customized portfolio solutions.
In 2010, Jordan was headhunted by PNC Bank to work on the growth of their investment division, in the Northeast Region, where he served as a senior strategy and business development officer of its $170 billion-dollar institutional asset management business. Jordan is a tenured executive with a background in futures trading, investment management and strategic business development.
Jordan’s career began, in 1990, as a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange where he specialized as an independent market maker for all energy related derivatives. Jordan transitioned from the floor-trading pit arena to a senior leadership role with an advisor, Trilogy Capital Management. As Managing Director, Jordan oversaw the growing half a billion-dollar portfolio, by utilizing the future markets to develop algorithm-generated investment solutions, for the pension, foundation, and endowment community. Jordan broadened his responsibilities when he designed, mapped, and implemented an automated trading platform for Trilogy Market Technology Group.
As Y2K began to take center-stage, Jordan joined Business Development LLC, a division of the Wolfson Group LLP, with the objective of leveraging a family venture capital pool and other investment-oriented funds to drive growth and revenue that would also set up our exit strategies for a multitude of technology platforms within various global industry sectors.
Jordan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Touro University and is a General Securities Representative (Series 7,66).
Jordan joined Gamma International Bank in 2023 from PNC Bank’s Asset Management Group.
Luis holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and has an extensive career in banking, having worked for Scotiabank for a total of 23 years. Throughout his tenure, he held a variety of leadership roles in trade finance, cash management, and corporate banking, ultimately serving as the Head of the Regional Hub for Corporate Banking.
His final role at Scotiabank was as the Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking in the Dominican Republic, being responsible for the growth and development of the segment in the Country.
Before joining Gamma, Jorge was a Fixed Income Strategist at Santander Private Banking International (SPBI), covering the regions of the U.S. and Latin American Emerging Markets. He was also an Asset Allocation Strategist at Russell Investments, focusing on global markets. Jorge has held various roles in the Asset Management and Financial Services industry, primarily focused on Fixed Income markets. While living in Canada, Jorge was an Associate Director for Emerging Markets at Scotiabank.
Jorge holds a Master’s in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Pacific in Lima, Peru. Additionally, Jorge is a CFA charterholder.
Investment analyst with over 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, equity research, and ESG investing. Before joining Gamma, Shirley served as ESG Investment Analyst for Coho Partners, a boutique investment management firm that focuses on downside protection. At Coho, Shirley supported the co-CIOs, portfolio managers, and senior equity analysts in developing the investment process and policy for the Coho Relative Value ESG Fund and UCITS Fund. Prior to that, Shirley was a financial analyst with FMC Corporation.
Ms. Chen holds a Dual Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Mathematics from Drexel University in Pennsylvania. She is a candidate for CFA and FRM programs.
Jose Luis Llanio Reyes is a Miami-based Senior Wealth Advisor at Gamma Asset Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Business from Florida State University, then began his career at Charles Schwab before moving to Morgan Stanley, advising families and professionals across market cycles. He also co-founded and operated a private business, giving him a practical owner’s perspective. Jose holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, has passed CFA Program Levels I and II, and is scheduled to sit for Level III in January 2026.

Additionally, she earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, further enhancing her strategic and managerial capabilities in wealth management.
José Javier Torron Armenteros, Registered Investment Advisor, has experience in corporate finance and investment advisory within the Latin American markets. Since 2021, José Javier has worked at Gamma AM, where he advises on proprietary investment strategies with a focus on fixed income and diversified portfolios. He began his career with internships in the Treasury Department at APAP and the Finance Department at Mercasid.
In addition to his advisory role, José Javier is also an entrepreneur and founder of Padel Social Club, a community-driven sports and lifestyle initiative.

Currently, Rodrigo works in the Asset Allocation team where he contributes research, macroeconomic and investment analysis across a diverse range of sectors. His approach combines data-driven insights with a deep understanding of financial trends, helping drive long-term value for clients and stakeholders.
Rodrigo holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and an M.A in Applied Economics from Georgetown University. He is also a General Securities Representative (Series 7), a Registered Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66) and is currently pursuing the CFA designation. In his free time, Rodrigo enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
